Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Le quai de la gare by Roger Montané for GBP 420.00 (€ 618.19). This price was achieved in the auction The Sunday Sale- The Edward and Millicent Carew- Shaw bequest, to benefit Medical Research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Roger Montané have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work Locmaria, l'escalier: woman on the village steps, Locmaria, Brittany at USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,017.00).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sunday Sale- The Edward and Millicent Carew- Shaw bequest, to benefit Medical Research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 900,00.
