This artwork by Roger Limouse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in March last year. In the The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Le port de Sanary sold for USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,746.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roger Limouse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Heure Du Thé in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 48,884.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roger Limouse erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer wurde die Arbeit Le port de Sanary für USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.746,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roger Limouse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Heure Du Thé im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.884,00.
