The work Untitled (Green, Black, White) by Roger Hilton was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,708.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Hilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work December 1960 in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,219.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Green, Black, White) von Roger Hilton wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.708,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Hilton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit December 1960 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.219,11).
