In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils,, which included the work Sunset on the beach by Roger de la Corbière. It changed hands for a price of GBP 384.00 (€ 556.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00.
