Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Dune Landscape With Huntsmen by Roelof Jansz van Vries was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,061.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Roelof Jansz van Vries have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Wooded River Landscape With Fishermen In A Boat And Hunters On A Track, A Town Beyond in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 60,250.00.

Die Arbeit A Dune Landscape With Huntsmen von Roelof Jansz van Vries kam im April 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.061,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
