Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Roelof Frankot was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roelof Frankot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vrouw met kind in Staphorst, which sold at auction in September 2010 for EUR 2,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Roelof Frankot kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Roelof Frankot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vrouw met kind in Staphorst beobachtet, die im September 2010 für EUR 2.375,00 versteigert wurde.
