Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moon by Roe Ethridge was sold in the Contemporary Art | London auction at Sothebys in London in August 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,642.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roe Ethridge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Myla With Column in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 33,750.00 (€ 24,743.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moon von Roe Ethridge wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | London bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.642,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roe Ethridge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Myla With Column im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.750,00 (€ 24.743,40).
