Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Robot in a Box by Rodney Alan Greenblat was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2004. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,434.00 (€ 1,191.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodney Alan Greenblat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Magnetocity, Main Station, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 3,954.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Robot in a Box von Rodney Alan Greenblat kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.434,00 (€ 1.191,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodney Alan Greenblat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Magnetocity, Main Station beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 3.954,44) versteigert wurde.
