Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Nude with Red Hair (La Toilette) 82 x 65 cm. (32 1/4 x 25 1/2 in.) by Roderic O'Conor was auctioned at Bonhams in Dublin in November this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 46,080.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roderic O'Conor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maisons Rouges à Pont-Aven in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 450,000.00 (€ 527,718.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated Nude with Red Hair (La Toilette) 82 x 65 cm. (32 1/4 x 25 1/2 in.) von Roderic O'Conor kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Dublin zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 46.080,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roderic O'Conor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maisons Rouges à Pont-Aven im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 450.000,00 (€ 527.718,31).
