The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,008.00 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roderic O'Conor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maisons Rouges à Pont-Aven in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 450,000.00 (€ 527,718.31).

Die Arbeit La falaise von Roderic O'Conor wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion La Collection Sam Josefowitz: Dessins et Gravures de l'Ecole de Pont-Aven Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.008,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roderic O'Conor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maisons Rouges à Pont-Aven im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 450.000,00 (€ 527.718,31).
