Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Asteria by Roby Dwi Antono. The price achieved of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,612.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roby Dwi Antono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Asih in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 299,178.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Asteria von Roby Dwi Antono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.612,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roby Dwi Antono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Asih im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 299.178,08).
