This artwork by Robin Tanner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2019. In the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction, the work Hedge Flowers (Garton & Co. 20) sold for GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,240.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Admittedly, works by Robin Tanner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twelve Etchings (Garton & Co. 3, 6, 9, 12-13, 18, 23, 25-27 & 30) in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,207.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robin Tanner erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street wurde die Arbeit Hedge Flowers (Garton & Co. 20) für GBP 1.063,00 (€ 1.240,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robin Tanner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twelve Etchings (Garton & Co. 3, 6, 9, 12-13, 18, 23, 25-27 & 30) im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.207,18).
