Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work A lady in a blue dress with a monkey by Robin Hambro for GBP 252.00 (€ 293.28). This price was achieved in the auction The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robin Hambro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Northern Cardinal in June this year with an auction result of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,132.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A lady in a blue dress with a monkey von Robin Hambro für GBP 252,00 (€ 293,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robin Hambro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Northern Cardinal im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.132,48).
