Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robin Hambro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection auction, the work Untitled (bird) sold for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,466.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robin Hambro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Northern Cardinal, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,132.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robin Hambro erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection wurde die Arbeit Untitled (bird) für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.466,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robin Hambro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Northern Cardinal beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.132,48) versteigert wurde.
