Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Roberto Burle Marx was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,109.51). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberto Burle Marx - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande Naturaleza Morta, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 158,500.00 (€ 110,253.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Roberto Burle Marx wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.109,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberto Burle Marx mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande Naturaleza Morta beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 158.500,00 (€ 110.253,20) versteigert wurde.
