Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Roberto Burle Marx was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,236.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Roberto Burle Marx have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Grande Naturaleza Morta was auctioned for USD 158,500.00 (€ 110,253.20).
