Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Spear Dunning could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Still Life With Fruit changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,731.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Spear Dunning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fruit Picture in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 324,500.00 (€ 288,803.84).
