Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work Scottish highlands by Robert Sinclair Thomson. The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,123.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by Robert Sinclair Thomson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2005 the work Two women's heads was auctioned for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27).

Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scottish highlands von Robert Sinclair Thomson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.123,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Robert Sinclair Thomson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2005 die Arbeit Two women's heads für GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.539,27) versteigert.
