Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction The Country House Sale - Property of the 14th Earl of Kintore & The Collection of the Late Bernard Lyons, C.B.E., which included the work Groupe de fermes au Morbihan; and Morbihan - village bleu by Robert Simon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 606.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Robert Simon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2009 the work Roses de Noel was auctioned for GBP 625.00 (€ 673.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Country House Sale - Property of the 14th Earl of Kintore & The Collection of the Late Bernard Lyons, C.B.E. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Groupe de fermes au Morbihan; and Morbihan - village bleu von Robert Simon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 606,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Robert Simon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2009 die Arbeit Roses de Noel für GBP 625,00 (€ 673,97) versteigert.
