The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,877.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Scott Duncanson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Garden of Eden in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 343,500.00 (€ 291,942.89).
