Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Austrian motiv Aus Südtirol (Landscape In South Tyrol) by Robert Russ. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 63,176.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Robert Russ have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2009 the work Austrian Der Gardasee Bei Gariano (Gariano, Lake Garda) was auctioned for GBP 103,250.00 (€ 121,160.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Austrian motiv Aus Südtirol (Landscape In South Tyrol) von Robert Russ zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 63.176,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Robert Russ konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2009 die Arbeit Austrian Der Gardasee Bei Gariano (Gariano, Lake Garda) für GBP 103.250,00 (€ 121.160,41) versteigert.
