In May 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Lady By A Stream by Robert Reid. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 58,911.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lady By A Stream is the most expensive artwork by Robert Reid that we have observed at auctions so far.
