Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,112.50 (€ 4,846.22). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Philipp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior Of The Metropolitan Museum, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,353.06).
