Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Lighthouse at Night by Robert Moskowitz for USD 500.00 (€ 446.55). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Moskowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lighthouse at Night von Robert Moskowitz für USD 500,00 (€ 446,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Moskowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
