Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert McGregor could be acquired at Christies in London in January 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Ready For School changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,262.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert McGregor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Floating in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,574.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert McGregor konnte im Januar 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Ready For School für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.262,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert McGregor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Floating im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.574,00).
