In March 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work The Painter With Karen On The Studio Bed by Robert Lenkiewicz. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,650.52), 37% above the upper estimate.
