Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Seated nude by Robert Lenkiewicz. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,441.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lenkiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Painter With Karen On The Studio Bed in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,650.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated nude von Robert Lenkiewicz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.441,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Lenkiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Painter With Karen On The Studio Bed im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.650,52).
