Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated nude with a crimson shawl by Robert Lenkiewicz was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,441.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lenkiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Painter With Karen On The Studio Bed in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,650.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated nude with a crimson shawl von Robert Lenkiewicz kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.441,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Lenkiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Painter With Karen On The Studio Bed im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.650,52).
