Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lesser Jacana by Robert Leggat was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,987.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Leggat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Crowned Eagle, which sold at auction in September 2010 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,566.06).

Die Arbeit Lesser Jacana von Robert Leggat kam im November 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.987,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Leggat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Crowned Eagle beobachtet, die im September 2010 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.566,06) versteigert wurde.
