A top price for Robert Leggat - as previously expected
The work Crowned Eagle by Robert Leggat was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2010. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,566.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Crowned Eagle is the most expensive artwork by Robert Leggat that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Crowned Eagle von Robert Leggat kam im September 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.566,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Crowned Eagle das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robert Leggat, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
