In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Finger Creature Hat by Robert Jessup. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,022.48), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Robert Jessup have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,128.93) in March 2021 for the work Finger Creature, Big Ear.
