A top price for Robert Hollands Walker - as previously expected
In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Haddon Hall and the river Wye by Robert Hollands Walker. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 646.25 (€ 1,022.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Haddon Hall and the river Wye is the most expensive artwork by Robert Hollands Walker that we have observed at auctions so far.
