Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2003 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work Study of three cows by Robert Hills. The price achieved of GBP 82.25 (€ 118.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Herd of Deer Resting In A Glade in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of three cows von Robert Hills zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 82,25 (€ 118,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Hills erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Herd of Deer Resting In A Glade im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.346,11).
