Admittedly, works by Robert Henry Cheney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A panoramic view of the Farnesina and the city of Rome in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,469.38).
