It changed hands for a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,415.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Henry Cheney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A panoramic view of the Farnesina and the city of Rome in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,469.38).
