Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,592.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Henry Cheney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A panoramic view of the Farnesina and the city of Rome in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,469.38).
