Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Arbre by Robert Helman. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,020.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Helman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 6,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arbre von Robert Helman zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.020,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Helman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.120,00.
