This artwork by Robert Helman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Foret Profonde, 1961 sold for EUR 4,080.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Helman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sans Titre sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of EUR 6,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Helman erzielte im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Foret Profonde, 1961 für EUR 4.080,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Helman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Oktober 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.120,00.
