The work All You Need Is Love by Robert Hardy was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,986.74), 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Hardy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancing in the Street, 2017, which sold at auction in February 2021 for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,175.98).

Die Arbeit All You Need Is Love von Robert Hardy wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.986,74) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Hardy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancing in the Street, 2017 beobachtet, die im Februar 2021 für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.175,98) versteigert wurde.
