Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Be My Baby (unframed) by Robert Hardy was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 3,045.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Hardy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancing in the Street, 2017, which sold at auction in February 2021 for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,175.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Be My Baby (unframed) von Robert Hardy wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 3.045,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Hardy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancing in the Street, 2017 beobachtet, die im Februar 2021 für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.175,98) versteigert wurde.
