Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Graham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2017. In the The Collection of Earl and Camilla McGrath auction, the work Gina 4.12.97 sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,526.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
