Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Talbot Kelly could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction, the work The leader of the caravan changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,092.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Talbot Kelly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tangiers in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,586.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art wechselte die Arbeit The leader of the caravan für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.092,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Talbot Kelly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tangiers im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.586,50).
