Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Strawberries and Cream by Robert Gemmell Hutchison was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,584.00 (€ 4,115.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Gemmell Hutchison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feeding The Seagulls in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,695.84).
