Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rodeo – New York City, 1954 by Robert Frank was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 55,000.00 (€ 47,610.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Frank achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trolley - New Orleans, 1955 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 663,750.00 (€ 504,062.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rodeo – New York City, 1954 von Robert Frank kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 55.000,00 (€ 47.610,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Frank erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Trolley - New Orleans, 1955 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 663.750,00 (€ 504.062,88).
