Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Mother by Robert Dickerson was auctioned at Bonhams in Sidney in May last year. The price achieved of AUD 2,337.00 (€ 2,177.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Dickerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swimmers at the River, 2000 in November 2020 with an auction result of AUD 86,100.00 (€ 72,062.27).
