It achieved a price of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,816.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Clunie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Old Whitebark Pine Tree at Summit Lake, Nth Palisade Range, Big Pine, California sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,673.96).
