The work Jig Saw Pass (North Palisade Region) by Robert Clunie was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,816.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Clunie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Old Whitebark Pine Tree at Summit Lake, Nth Palisade Range, Big Pine, California sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,673.96).

Die Arbeit Jig Saw Pass (North Palisade Region) von Robert Clunie wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.816,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Clunie; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Old Whitebark Pine Tree at Summit Lake, Nth Palisade Range, Big Pine, California im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.673,96).
