Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cathedral View Grand Teton Range Wyo. by Robert Clunie was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,781.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Clunie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Old Whitebark Pine Tree at Summit Lake, Nth Palisade Range, Big Pine, California, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,673.96).
