Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life of a pitcher holding autumn leaves and a pomegranate and grapes on a ledge by Robert Chailloux for USD 750.00 (€ 520.62). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Chailloux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Robert Chailloux (French, b.1913) in April 2005 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,525.64).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Chailloux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Robert Chailloux (French, b.1913) im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.525,64).
