Sold at the upper estimate price
The work The Victoria and Albert Museum from Chelsea by Robert Buhler was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,474.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Buhler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Changing Tents, Beach near St Malo, which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,992.23).

Die Arbeit The Victoria and Albert Museum from Chelsea von Robert Buhler kam im September 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.474,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Buhler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Changing Tents, Beach near St Malo beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.992,23) versteigert wurde.
