The work Crescent Opposite Pier Hotel - Albert Bridge by Robert Buhler was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,283.86), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Buhler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Changing Tents, Beach near St Malo, which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,992.23).

Die Arbeit Crescent Opposite Pier Hotel - Albert Bridge von Robert Buhler wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.283,86) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Buhler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Changing Tents, Beach near St Malo beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.992,23) versteigert wurde.
