Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2000 Christies in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work An Etude in Gray #2 by Robert Brackman. The price achieved of USD 4,465.00 (€ 4,677.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Robert Brackman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2016 the work The Lighthouse Keeper was auctioned for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,798.40).
